Polystyrene Signs & Shapes

Various finishes on the polystyrene’s surface are available including the natural raw white, painted in any colour, glittered and they can be faced with vinyl, metal or acrylic sheet.

Special effects can be created too, with stone, rusted metal, artificial grass and ice being a few of the most popular. With polystyrene your imagination is the only limit!

Polystyrene shapes can be cut to create any natural 3D shapes, including, balls, eggs, cubes, cones, tear drops, boulders, snowflakes, fruits, vegetables and much more. Also they can be cut to any technical, or man-made shapes, like cogs, tools, machinery, pipes, chains, anchors, wheels, columns and so much more.

Being lightweight and self supporting, polystyrene signs and shapes are ideal for adding seasonal props to shop windows and retail display quickly and easily. Giant sparkly baubles or snowmen for Christmas, glittered hearts or ‘LOVE’ letters for Valentines or colourful shiny eggs or cute oversized bunnies for Easter.

The polystyrene used for the signs has a flame retardant additive for fire safety purposes and they can also be sprayed with a fire retardant coating which has the added benefit of making the shapes and letters more rigid and durable.

As the signs are made from Expanded Polystyrene, they can be recycled in the UK. Many councils and recycling companies will accept expanded polystyrene for recycling.  NB. The base white polystyrene is more likely to be accepted for recycling than if it is painted or coated with special effects.
