Description

The Metro External Notice Board, is a high quality information display for promotional and outdoor advertising applications.

Made for exterior use, but equally usable indoors, Metro notice boards are designed to be weather resistant. They have an IP56 rating achieved using special built-in silicone gaskets fitted to the base profiles with the front cover fitting tightly over the top to create a water resistant seal.

The notice board itself is robust and secure having heavy duty aluminium profiles; a 4mm toughened safety glass fascia panel and a key lockable front cover. This makes them very difficult to tamper with so the most tamper proof unit you can get to ensure your notices are kept safe and secure.

For ease of graphic changing, the front cover of the poster case hinges open from the top and is fitted with either a support bar or gas stays to aid opening depending on the size. The back panel is a steel anti corrosive dry wipe panel for use with marker pens and magnets but is also available with cork or coloured felt backs at additional cost.

The Noticeboard can be LED illuminated creating a wash of light over the printed notices.  LED lighting strips to the top hidden behind a coated steel panel which is suitable for printing or applying vinyl graphics.

The Metro External Notice Board is the ideal outdoor advertising display solution for outside locations such as: high streets, shopping precincts, car parks, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, petrol station forecourts, train stations, nightclubs, and sport centres.

Where there are no walls to mount to, the Metro notice board can be supplied with a set of 2 aluminium profile posts. These can either be inserted into the ground (2500mm length) or bolt fixed to the ground (2000mm length).

The notice board is available in a varied set of standard sizes that can take multiple poster sheets, from 4 x A4 up to 27 x A4.

• IP Rating: IP56 – Water resistant. Totally protected against dust. Protected against strong jets of water – limited ingress permitted. NB the case is water resistant not waterproof, some condensation may occur, ensure the print used is waterproof.

Advisory Notes:
This product is weather resistant but not waterproof. Due to changes in atmospheric humidity and water vapour in the air, condensation can occur in any poster case or notice board, similar to the inside of a car window, especially when changing the posters. If condensation does occur, simply air out the poster case (when weather is dry) to ensure moisture is evaporated.
Posters should be sealed to prevent prints becoming damaged if they come into contact with moisture or condensation.
When installing this product, ensure you mount to a flat and even surface and take care not to over tighten the fixings as you may distort the back panel and cause damage.
