Stock Brook Manor Signage

New Flat Cut Sign Letters Suit Stock Brook to a Tee

W&Co produced new polished gold flat cut sign letters for Stock Brook Manor Golf & Country Club in Billericay, Essex, creating a stunning visual statement at the entrance to the golf and leisure complex.

The existing signage had deteriorated over time, and the client’s brief was to refresh the main entrance with a premium-looking sign built to last. W&Co’s design and sales team worked closely with the client to deliver a high-quality solution that balanced visual impact with cost-effectiveness.

Following a detailed site survey, W&Co’s visualisation team created 3D renders to help the client picture how the new flat cut sign letters would appear once installed. The designs were refined with client feedback and finalised for production.

Originally, the signage had been made using built-up stencil cut letters, which had not aged well. To ensure a longer-lasting and more refined finish, the client selected Rimex Prestige Polished Gold stainless steel—an ideal material for exterior signage with a premium mirror effect.

The new flat cut sign letters were fabricated using 1.5mm thick polished gold stainless steel and measured to suit the 3.6-metre wall width, with precision-welded brass locator fixings for clean and secure installation.

During the design phase, W&Co recommended rendering the existing brick wall and painting it in a soft cream tone to match other buildings on the estate. This not only provided a better surface for the sign but also increased contrast, allowing the gold letters to stand out clearly.

The final installation—featuring the custom lettering and a flat cut tree logo—was completed by W&Co’s experienced fitters. The client was thrilled with the transformation and the smart, lasting first impression it now creates for all who arrive at Stock Brook Manor.
